International Roaming Charges Eliminated with SIM Server Offering

Wireless Connectivity

Hey, what’s the worst thing about business communications on the road? That’s right, roaming charges on our mobile devices.
Cloud Roam, based in Coventry, England, understands where we’re coming from. The telecom company sells to international travelers so they hear it, too. Its CEO and founder, Sotiris Anagnostis, is establishing a cooperation network between dozens of countries and his enterprise with the goal of saving up to 85 percent of what company officials call “exorbitant roaming charges ordinarily imposed on mobile calls” while traveling abroad.

To accomplish this, Cloud Roam offers pre-paid SIM cards -- no, no calling cards -- and that great telecom money saver, Voice over Internet Protocol, or VoIP.
The idea is to offer a low-cost international telephone call service for calls to and from a roaming GSM handset without roaming charges. As company officials explain, with the SIM Card for Travelers, Cloud Roam lets travelers communicate with others no matter where they are, offering up to 85 percent saving of call costs while roaming and a reliable high-quality GSM service that works in more than 200 countries.
Cloud Roam officials claim agreements with 450 local GSM operators that support SMS, voicemail and multi-party call conference with proven, reliable, high-quality service. It requires no change to the way you use your GSM handset, and there are no charges for receiving incoming calls when roaming in more than 70 countries.
You can buy the Cloud SIM Card on board in airline companies, at the www.cloud-roam.com site, in hotels or at travel agencies. Topping up the SIM is pretty easy, you either send an e-mail to the company’s site or via PayPal (News - Alert) or credit card.
